The surgery will be closed on Wednesday 20th November 2019 from 1pm.
There will be no GP appointments available in the afternoon so that our GPs, duty team and practice nurses can join the TARGET session.
If you need medical help you can use the normal Out of Hours Service by dialling 111.
TARGET stands for Time for Audit Research Governance and Training. This programme has worked very effectively in other parts of Hampshire and the sessions are well attended as the GPs and Practice Nurses find it useful to set aside dedicated time to work with their colleagues from other Practices.
Thank you for your co-operation.

WHCCG Community Phlebotomy (Blood Test) Service
The West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group is reviewing the current Community Phlebotomy (blood test) Service and is seeking views on the current service from our patients.
We would be grateful if you could take a minute to answer the following questions about your experience here.
Thank you very much.
IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE
As of 1st October 2018 Forest Gate Surgery is now part of the New Horizons Medical Partnership along with Dr S J Godfrey & Partners in Totton.
Both practices are working together to provide you, our patients, with excellent care.
We believe that as two practices working together we will be able to offer a better service to our patients.
To start with nothing much will change - you will still phone the same number and both buildings are still open as they were before.
As time progresses we will be able to offer you, our patients, a better 'on the day' service for urgent care.
We plan to utilise the best services from each practice across all of our patients.
By being a larger practice we believe we will be better able to cope with rising patient demand against a reducing availability of doctors and nurses.
We look forward to working this out together with you, our patients.

Patient online access update
The surgery has improved the current online facility to enable patients to view their detailed coded data from their medical record.
Patient Access is now available as an app for your mobile device, so now you can access your local GP services on the move, as long as you have a connection to the internet.
What's more, because Patient Access is a 24 hour online service you can do this in your own time, day or night.
Friends and Family Test
We would like to know what you think of our services. We'd be really grateful if you could go to the 'Have Your Say' section on the website and complete our 2 question survey.
Please have a look around our website and do send us some feedback. We can use your thoughts to improve our online services & further develop the website to make it more useful for our patients. We will always respond to your comment/suggestion, providing that you have agreed that we may contact you. You could also consider joining our feedback group and take part in our annual surveys
