EBOLA ADVICE - DECEMBER 2014
If you are experiencing a high fever or temperature and have been travelling to West Africa (especially Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone or Nigeria) in the last 21 days please DO NOT COME DOWN TO THE SURGERY. Instead telephone the surgery on 02380 663839 or NHS 111. You will be able to speak with a doctor who will assess your case and plan further action.
Here is a link to the NHS choices website page on Ebola which will provide much more information
Thank you for your help and co-operation with this.
DR JOSS MYLES
Dr Joss Myles will be retiring from the Forest Gate partnership on 6 March 2015. Dr Myles has been off work for personal reasons and will not be returning to the Practice before his retirement date. The Partners and staff of Forest Gate Surgery wish him the very best for the future and would like to thank him for his contribution to the Practice during his six years as a Partner.
The Partners have arranged for Dr Stuart McInnes to take on the care of Dr Myles' patients from 29 December 2014. We are also delighted that we have been able to appoint Dr McInnes as a new Partner. Following Dr Myles' retirement in March 2015 Dr McInnes will take up this new role and continue to work with us at Forest Gate Surgery providing continuity of care for Dr Myles' patients.
You may already know Dr McInnes as he has worked at Forest Gate Surgery as a GP registrar completing his specialty General Practice training with us in July 2014. Since then Dr McInnes has worked with us as an associate GP and as a locum GP in Hampshire.
